Trump Says U.S. Will Not Join Unilateral Israeli Military Action Against Iran

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly informed Israeli leadership that the United States will not participate in any unilateral military campaign against Iran, while continuing to support diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions in the Middle East.

According to international media reports, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a telephone conversation following recent missile exchanges between Iran and Israel. The leaders discussed the evolving security situation and possible responses to the latest developments.

Sources familiar with the discussions said Netanyahu outlined Israel’s position regarding a potential response to Iran. However, Trump reportedly made it clear that if Israel chooses to launch a military operation against Iran on its own, Washington would not take part in the action.

In separate remarks, the U.S. president emphasized that despite recent tensions, his administration remains committed to maintaining diplomatic channels with Tehran.
