The leader of Lebanon’s resistance group, Hezbullah, Naeem Qassem, has firmly rejected any direct negotiations with Israel. He stated that engaging in talks with Israel is a sin, and such discussions would destabilize Lebanon. He urged the authorities to halt direct negotiations and pursue indirect talks instead.
Naeem Qassem emphasized that Hezbollah’s resistance is ongoing and the organization remains strong. He asserted that Hezbollah cannot be defeated, and the group will not lay down its arms. The resistance will continue in defense of Lebanon and its people, regardless of the threats from the enemy. He further declared that Hezbollah would neither retreat, nor bow down, nor be defeated.
Hezbollah’s stance on rejecting direct negotiations with Israel reflects its commitment to its resistance strategy and opposition to any potential normalization of ties with Israel.
