PM Praises Security Forces for Foiling Terror Infiltration at Afghan Border

Islamabad – May 1, 2026: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended Pakistan’s security forces for successfully thwarting an attempted infiltration along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Mohmand and North Waziristan.

In an official statement, the prime minister highlighted the professionalism and swift response of which led to the elimination of 13 militants who were attempting to enter Pakistan from across the border.

He praised the courage and vigilance of the officers and personnel involved in the operation, stating that their timely action prevented a potentially serious security threat.

Reaffirming the government’s stance, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the fight against terrorism will continue until its complete eradication. He added that anti-state elements will not be allowed to succeed in their malicious objectives under any circumstances.
