Iran warns of possible new confrontation with US

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has raised concerns about the possibility of a fresh confrontation with the United States, according to recent media reports.

Officials from the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, a key command center within Iran’s military structure, have indicated that evolving regional developments point toward a potential escalation in tensions. The warning reflects growing unease in Tehran over the current geopolitical climate.

Deputy Inspector of the headquarters, Sardar Asadi, stated that Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any hostile actions. He emphasized that the military remains on high alert and capable of countering any campaign initiated by adversaries.

Iranian military officials further noted that ongoing developments and available evidence suggest the risk of renewed conflict with the US cannot be ruled out.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with both sides closely monitoring each other’s moves.
