Amir Hatami Warns of Strong Response as Iran Deploys Missiles and Drones
Tehran: Iran’s Commander-in-Chief, Amir Hatami, has warned that any attempt by a US aircraft carrier to move toward the Strait of Hormuz will be met with full force.
In an official statement, Hatami confirmed that Iran has deployed cruise missiles and combat drones to counter potential threats, signaling heightened military readiness in the region.
He said US naval forces may believe they can approach the Strait using advanced radar and stealth capabilities, but emphasized that Iran’s response would be immediate and decisive.
The Iranian military chief added that forces are closely monitoring activity in the Persian Gulf, stressing that every inch of Iranian waters will be defended at all costs.
