Iran Warns of Harsh Response Against Hostile Actions
Tehran: Iran has declared that its armed forces are fully prepared for any possible scenario, warning that any country or group attempting hostile actions against the nation would face severe consequences.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei made the remarks in a detailed statement shared on social media platform X. He urged the international community to reject what he described as “aggression and domination,” calling on world powers to take practical steps before global instability worsens.
According to the spokesperson, the conflict imposed on Iran by the United States and Israel on February 28 was not simply about territory or resources. He claimed the confrontation would shape the future definition of justice and oppression in the region and beyond.
Baghaei accused the countries involved in attacks against Iran of violating international laws and targeting civilians for political objectives. He alleged that missile strikes had hit civilian locations, including women’s sports facilities, describing the attacks as an attempt to display military power against ordinary people.
The Iranian official further stated that the Iranian people and security forces were committed to protecting innocent lives under all circumstances. He added that remaining silent during such events would amount to supporting wrongdoing.
Separately, Baghaei confirmed that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will travel to India to attend the upcoming BRICS summit.
