Pakistan’s Progress Cannot Be Stopped Through Foreign-Backed Terrorism, Says Field Marshal Asim Munir

Rawalpindi: Asim Munir has said that propaganda campaigns, fake news, and foreign-sponsored terrorism will not be able to hinder Pakistan’s path toward development and stability.

According to the ISPR, the army chief visited the Quetta Garrison where he addressed faculty members and officers undergoing training at the Command and Staff College.

During his speech, Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the rapidly changing nature of modern warfare and urged officers to stay informed about emerging technologies and future battlefield challenges.

He stated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to eliminating terrorism with the support of the nation. He added that hostile narratives, misinformation, and externally backed militant activities cannot weaken the country’s determination to move forward.

The army chief further stressed that peace and stability in Balochistan are vital for national progress. He said forces attempting to disrupt Pakistan’s development agenda would continue to fail, adding that the country’s journey toward prosperity and economic growth will ultimately succeed
