Cristiano Ronaldo Wins First Saudi Pro League Title with Al Nassr
RIYADH: Cristiano Ronaldo guided Al Nassr FC to their first Saudi Pro League title since 2019 after a dominant 4-1 victory over Damac FC in the final round of the season.
The victory lifted Al Nassr to 86 points, allowing them to finish two points ahead of rivals Al Hilal SFC in the league standings.
The championship also marked Ronaldo’s first league title success since arriving in Saudi Arabia.
Al Nassr opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Sadio Mane powered home a header from a corner delivered by Joao Felix.
In the second half, Kingsley Coman doubled the lead with an impressive solo effort that left the Damac defence helpless.
Damac later reduced the deficit through a penalty, but Ronaldo quickly restored control for Al Nassr with a stunning free-kick goal.
The Portuguese superstar struck again in the 81st minute, scoring his second goal of the night to seal both the victory and the league title for his side.
At the final whistle, Ronaldo appeared emotional and was seen in tears while celebrating the long-awaited championship triumph with teammates and supporters.
