Special Event Held at Pakistan Embassy in Russia to Mark Anniversary of Maarka-e-Haq“Battle for Truth”

A special ceremony was organized at the Embassy of Pakistan in Moscow to commemorate the first anniversary of Special Event Held at Pakistan Embassy in Russia to Mark Anniversary of Maarka-e-Haq“Battle for Truth”” highlighting Pakistan’s national unity, resilience, and commitment to regional peace and stability.

The event was attended by members of the Pakistani community in Russia, including students, business figures, and individuals from different professional backgrounds.

Addressing the gathering, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia Faisal Niaz Tirmizi described the “Battle for Truth” as a significant chapter in Pakistan’s history that showcased the unity, courage, and determination of the nation before the world.

He stated that during the tensions triggered by what he described as Indian aggression a year ago, Pakistan responded in a responsible and balanced manner while adhering to international law, a response that received serious attention globally.

The ambassador added that Pakistan’s political and military leadership demonstrated complete coordination, wisdom, and commitment to national interests during a sensitive period, while the people of Pakistan also displayed remarkable unity and solidarity.

Faisal Niaz Tirmizi praised the professionalism and unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the country, saying the nation takes pride in their dedication and sacrifices.

He further emphasized that Pakistan has consistently supported peace, regional stability, and constructive diplomacy, but would never compromise on its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ambassador noted that diplomacy, dialogue, and mutual respect remain the most effective means of resolving conflicts in the current global environment, adding that Pakistan continues to uphold this principled stance.

He also appreciated the role of overseas Pakistanis, calling them true ambassadors of the country who help project a positive image of Pakistan worldwide. According to him, the Pakistani community in Russia has consistently demonstrated patriotism, unity, and support for national interests.

Members of the Pakistani community in Russia also addressed the ceremony, expressing confidence in Pakistan’s civil and military leadership and stressing the country’s important role in promoting diplomacy, peace, and regional security.

The event concluded with the screening of a special documentary film.
