Prime Minister Congratulates PPP Leadership on Gilgit-Baltistan Election Victory

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party following the party’s strong performance in the recent Gilgit-Baltistan elections.

In a statement issued after the election results, the prime minister also congratulated the people of Gilgit-Baltistan for participating in what he described as a peaceful, transparent, and politically active electoral process.

Sharif noted that the Pakistan Peoples Party emerged as the largest political force in the elections and deserved recognition for its success. He extended his congratulations to Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the party’s achievement.

The prime minister also praised the efforts of candidates and workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, saying they had put up a strong contest during the campaign. He commended the party’s team for its dedication and hard work throughout the election process.

Sharif further congratulated all successful candidates elected to the Gilgit-Baltistan assembly, expressing hope that they would work for the development, prosperity, and welfare of the region.
