Trump Warns US Could Seize Iran’s Nuclear Material at Any Time

Donald Trump has taken a hardline stance on Iran’s nuclear activities, saying the United States is closely monitoring Tehran’s enriched uranium stockpile and could take control of it whenever necessary.

In an interview with journalist Sharyl Attkisson, Trump claimed that any movement involving Iran’s enriched uranium would immediately be detected by the US military. He warned that anyone attempting to access or transfer the material could become a target.

The US president also stated that Iran had already suffered major military setbacks, but suggested that American operations against Tehran were not fully over. Trump claimed that key Iranian leadership networks had been heavily damaged during recent confrontations.

Trump further argued that Iran should never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons, accusing Tehran of violating agreements after signing them.

Speaking about the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said the United States itself does not rely on the strategic waterway, adding that Washington’s actions in the region are mainly aimed at protecting its Middle Eastern allies.

Earlier, Trump reacted to Iran’s response to a US-backed proposal aimed at ending tensions. Writing on his social media platform Truth Social, he said the reply delivered by Iran’s representatives was “completely unacceptable.”

According to Iranian media reports, Tehran’s response was reportedly conveyed through Pakistan, which has been playing a mediating role in recent diplomatic contacts.
