DG ISPR Holds Special Session With University VC and Senior teachers

Inter-Services Public Relations organized a special interactive session between the Director General ISPR and senior members of Pakistan’s academic community during the National Security and Strategic Leadership Workshop 2026 held in Rawalpindi.

The workshop brought together vice chancellors, deans, registrars, and senior faculty members from more than 200 universities across Pakistan. Participants from Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Multan, and Quetta also joined the event through online platforms.

During the session, the DG ISPR discussed several important issues related to Pakistan’s internal security environment, national stability, and emerging strategic challenges.

Participants at the workshop appreciated the role of the Pakistan Army in safeguarding the country’s defense and maintaining national security. Speakers at the event said the armed forces have played a significant role in ensuring stability and protecting the nation during difficult times.

Academic representatives also highlighted the importance of guiding students against misinformation and negative propaganda. They stated that the session provided valuable insight into national security matters, information warfare, and the challenges currently facing the country.

According to participants, stronger cooperation between academia and national institutions is essential for promoting awareness and strengthening unity. They also praised ISPR’s initiative of bringing university leadership and academic experts together on a common platform for dialogue and strategic understanding.
