US Cargo Aircraft Deliver Ammunition to Israel Amid Fears of Renewed Conflict with Iran
Tel Aviv: Dozens of American cargo aircraft carrying ammunition and military supplies reportedly arrived in Israel within the past 24 hours, according to Israeli media reports.
Israeli media outlets claimed the arrival of the US military cargo planes signals possible preparations for another confrontation with Iran despite ongoing diplomatic efforts in the region.
The reports have raised concerns over escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly after recent exchanges of threats and military activity involving Israel and Iran.
Meanwhile, Israeli attacks on Lebanon continued despite an existing ceasefire agreement, resulting in further casualties and destruction.
According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, at least 18 people were killed and 124 others injured in Israeli strikes over the last 24 hours.
Hezbollah stated that it carried out 17 operations against Israeli forces on Saturday. The group claimed it targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers using rockets, mortars, and explosive drones.
Officials said that since the escalation of fighting intensified on March 2, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have killed at least 2,988 people and injured more than 9,210 others.
The ongoing violence has further increased fears of a broader regional conflict involving multiple countries and armed groups across the Middle East.
