Iran Warns of “Unexpected Consequences” if New Conflict Erupts After Trump’s Threats

Tensions between the United States and Iran have intensified once again after former US President Donald Trump warned that military action against Tehran remains a possible option if ongoing negotiations fail.

Speaking about the current situation, Trump claimed that Iran has only a limited amount of time left to reach an agreement with Washington. He stated that he had previously been “one hour away” from authorizing a military strike on Iran but decided to delay the operation in order to allow diplomacy another opportunity.

Trump further stressed that the United States would not permit Iran to obtain nuclear weapons under any circumstances. According to him, Washington could take tougher measures if diplomatic talks collapse in the coming days.

Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance said that recent discussions between Tehran and Washington have shown meaningful progress. He added that neither side appears willing to enter another large-scale military confrontation.

Vance noted that diplomatic channels remain active and that both countries are still searching for ways to reduce regional tensions and avoid escalation in the Middle East.

On the Iranian side, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi delivered a strong response to Trump’s remarks, warning that Iran has gained significant military experience and strategic knowledge from previous conflicts in the region.

Araghchi stated that if another war is imposed on Iran, “the world will witness surprising developments.” He suggested that Tehran is now more prepared than before and capable of delivering a powerful response to any future military action.

The latest exchange of warnings has once again raised concerns about stability in the Middle East, while the international community continues urging both Tehran and Washington to keep diplomatic negotiations alive and prevent further escalation.
